Are you consuming insect guts and mold carcasses? There’s a high probability you are…
.
Before you buy new bud, listen up. There’s a ton of cultivators in Canada that are using irradiation methods to sanitize their flower before selling it. If you don’t know what that means, imagine running your moldy, insect-ridden cannabis through an X-ray machine, then consuming it with the dead fungus and fried bugs still on it.

Here’s the thing, people are going to tell you that irradiation is necessary for efficiently sanitizing your cannabis crops. I say that’s BS – they’re just taking shortcuts and using it as a crutch to increase profit, while cutting corners during the cultivation, drying, and curing processes. We should be treating the cannabis plant with love and care if we truly want to heal humanity with it, instead of exploiting it.

WARNING: Is the legal cannabis you’re consuming nuked? No joke.

Look, as a fellow cannabis-cultivator who loves and respects the plant, I simply cannot put up with this kind of potentially dangerous methods of sanitizing flower. Scientists have been debating the safety of irradiation for years. And when it comes to cannabis, irradiation decreases the amount of terpenes present in your bud. Remember – terpenes are what guide your high, so if you’re losing vast quantities of them, you’re getting a much poorer experience. Just imagine what you’re missing out on.
