420 — The Documentary exposes how our government and political leaders, including almost every president up to the current administration — has embraced a thug-like mentality when it comes to treating marijuana as a Schedule 1 drug: reserved for the most dangerous and addictive of all drugs, despite the fact that scores of politicians and the last three presidents have admitted to smoking pot when they were young.

Drug war survivor and clemency recipient under President Clinton, Amy Ralston Povah received a master’s degree in drug war politics. Motivated to alter the course of a destructive policy, Amy fully funded, produced, wrote, directed and edited this film, which won Best Documentary Feature at Awareness Film Fest on July 28th!
