Rihanna’s Instagram Temporarily Suspended

Pop singer Rihanna’s Instragram.com account was temporarily suspended on Monday, May 5. According to reports, the suspension was due to technical issues which disabled the page.

In April, bad girl Riri shared some nude pictures from her latest sexy spread in French magazine for men Lui, in which she bravely exposed her bare breasts and nipple piercing.

She was immediately urged to remove the photographs from her profile as they violate the social media company’s rules about nudity.

However, Instagram bosses state this latter suspension has nothing to do with her nudity. A statement released from the company executives reads, “This account was mistakenly caught in one of our automated systems and very briefly disabled. We apologize for any inconvenience.”

“If you wouldn’t show the photo or video you are thinking about uploading to a child, or your boss, or your parents, you probably shouldn’t share it on Instagram,” it states in Instagram’s community guidelines.

“The same rule applies to your profile photo. Accounts found sharing nudity or mature content will be disabled and your access to Instagram may be discontinued.”

However, the temporary disabling of the singer’s Instagram account didn’t stop her from revealing her nudity as she posted the snaps to her Twitter page shortly after.

And in a funny respond to Instagram, she mocked up a more conservative image of herself captioned, “Rih’s next magazine cover if it was up to Instagram.”

The R&B icon has more than 12 million followers on Instagram.
