Tim Hortons investigating video of drive-thru employee taking bong hit

Tim Hortons has launched a “full investigation” after CityNews alerted the coffee chain to a Vine of a drive-thru employee taking a bong hit while on the job.

“Clearly we do not condone this type of behaviour. We have zero tolerance,” a spokesperson said in an email to CityNews.

In the video, the Tim Hortons employee can be seen looking around before leaning out the window and taking the hit.

CityNews spoke with the driver in the video, who posted it to Vine. He declined to be interviewed on camera for fear of landing himself or his friend in trouble. It is unclear which Tim Hortons outlet it was.

It is not known what was in the bong.
