susan sarandon invites a$ap rocky to “blaze one”
The iconic actor is returning the shout out on 1Train.
Susan Sarandon is kind of a baller. She started getting tattoos a couple of years ago at 61 — a 10-inch design down the back of her neck and a wrist bracelet — and she has been open about taking drugs both in the 70s and today, admitting that she likes to enjoy (sometimes long and boring) awards ceremonies by getting hella stoned beforehand.
There’s some debate about what “Susan Sarandon” means in drug slang terms, with some linking her to weed because of her penchant for green and others saying that as a white girl, it means cocaine. Anyway, on A$AP Rocky‘s debut album LONG.LIVE.A$AP, in Action Bronson‘s verse on 1Train he says: “You see us scrambling, selling Susan Sarandon/ The cloud of smoke like the phantom/ Damn this shit tastes like fantastic”.

Two and a half years after the album’s release, it seems Susan’s tracked down a copy of the record, and decided to return the shoutout to Rocky and Bronson on social media, tweeting “Hey @asvpxrocky & @ActionBronson thx for the shout out on “1Train.” Not sure what it means, but let’s blaze one & talk about it some time.” Bronson retweeted her, so maybe it’ll actually happen. That is one chill sesh we’d like to be at!
