Veterans Use Marijuana For PTSD
Veterans, first-responders, and civilians with PTSD or post traumatic stress disorder also known as OSI (operational stress injury) leads to suicide, depression, anxiety, drug abuse and anti-social behavior. There is growing evidence that the pharmacological therapies are not working and contribute to worsening of symptoms for veterans with PTSD.
A group of veterans in Canada have developed a program based upon cannabis use and holistic medicine coupled under the supervision of physicians and health care professionals are mounting a strong body of evidence each day for the successful treatment of PTSD symptoms using cannabis therapy.
It isn’t for everyone. Clearly there needs to be progression in the study of medicine to find better solutions for the men and women that serve their country. Please show your support by sharing this video.
